We're a geek culture podcast and blog covering video games, music, food and more. We are the kinds of people who evangelize whatever we are into - it could be anything - but it's usually pretty geeky. We're casual, conversational, NSFW and hopefully interesting. We hope you enjoy it.

Jinny and Chris at Pax
They trounced about kind of lax
Lucky for listeners they gathered the shwag
To present their listeners with the ultimate bag
Listeners win with no tax!

A trilogy of Haiku:

The Penny Arcade
Weekly Geek Show in full force
Still haunted by games

Weekly Geek at PAX
A barrage of games attack
My extra life gone

Reviews, News, and mail
It's all there for listeners
Ungrateful lot them

And finally:

PAX Haiku for you
Seven syllables are hard
When not using abbreviations or breaking rules

To celebrate the food-related moments found in The Weekly Geek:

What doth a weekly geek make?
A dash of games, a splash of mail, some gourmet to boot
Fold in some silly, sprinkle some Jinny – now knead till you ache
Braise at 350, glaze till it shines, pop from the oven and prepare for the praise
Result: a winning podcast – now give me the loot!

My wrist is naked
Slap bracelet adorns it not
I need super class

Weekly Geek Haiku Addiction Syndrome (WGHAS)

Weekly Geek is on
Random insanity now
Games, rants, friends, and fun!

It is Friday now
Two days left to enter
Victory alone?

There once was a convention called PAX
Where they gave out shwag to the max
The Geeks plan to give theirs away
Quite a bit i must say
Enough to fill several men's large sized slacks

The Weekly Geek: A Haiku

Oh, the Weekly Geek
The Gamut of Geekery
How I adore it

The weekly geek cast is superb
The laughable content is unheard,
They review all your games,
Qais Fulton is insane,
And sometimes they fool Jinny and hit record.

My, uh, "poem". Wait - remember that movie, "So I Married An Axe Murderer"? Yeah? Well, imagine this being read like that. Candle and all. What?

Ahem.

When I heard your podcast before last,
You mentioned sweet swag to be passed.
My heart, it started a-racing.
My mind, it started a-pacing.

But then, you dropped the bomb.
"Australians only do wrong,"
And though I was giddy at the mention (surely I was your intention?),
I was gutted all the same.

So I started to wish and say a prayer,
That the world were still like Pangea.
Because surely then I'd have a chance,
Intercontinental drifting would make no diff-er-aaaance.

But then, you righted your wrong.
In "Penguins" your change of heart was like a song.
And I found myself in the quandry then,
of having a goddamned poem to pen.

So this is it, my tribute to you,
my precious Weekly Geek crew.
Each time I get to hear your sassy opinions and advice,
I feel a little more enriched in my gaming life.

But this isn't even about really winning the swag.
I'm sure someone came up with a more clever gag.
Truthfully, there's something equal, if not more amazing, that I'd settle

for.
Something else I feel would even out of criminal immigrant-call score.

Being singled out by the nerds who grace my ipod.
That'd be better than winning the Iditarod.
So just say my name, geeks, because that would be ace.
It's Jane Doe or Tracey or even just Trace.

Taunted by Jinny
Qais replies "Shut the fuck up."
More geeky goodness.

And now, for your reading pleasure, some haiku:

Chris holds a contest
How do I plan on winning?
Bribing Qais with toys.

The Weekly Geek crew
I met them all at PAX
What a nerdy bunch.

What say you?!
