    Video Review: Low - Breaker

Talk about having your cake and eating it too. Now we know what they do for kicks in Minnesota. Fresh off the slow, pulsing Drums and Guns released on the 20th, Low unveiled their video for the first single on the album: "Breaker." What a perfect offset to their minimal style- lead singer Alan Sparhawk devours all but one slice of a humongous chocolate cake aided only by his two hands and just as many glasses of milk. It's easy to imagine this video to be a symbol for the overindulgence of our military presence in the world. Or, maybe Alan just wanted to prove to his old frat buddies that he could still eat a cake in under 4 minutes and the only clean clothes he had in the closet were those World War 2 reenactment duds.

Hit the jump to find out where you can see Low on tour this Spring. Maybe the concert will turn into a hot dog eating contest or something.

I vote for this as the best music video ever.

You mean Alan Sparhawk, not Mark.

Nice catch ZB. I'm constantly confusing Alan Sparhawk from Low with Mark Kozelek from Red House Painters. They both have that Slowcore vibe and I think they toured together a while back too.
