Hideous Wii Laptop Unleashed

wii_laptop.jpgI don't know how he accomplished it, but esteemed console hacker Ben Heckendorn has actually managed to make the Wii ugly. In his latest smushing-a-full-size-console-and-monitor-together project, he took on the Wii for Engadget.

Don't get me wrong, this guy is insanely good with electronics. He has made many a console into a smaller version of itself with great success. The unfortunate part is this guy has NO sense of design. He seems to use a prototyping machine taken from Atari circa 1979. Every one of his projects has this hideous Formica™ look to it.

Yeah, it was a slow news week.
